My Coaching Style
My coaching style is warm, motivating and pragmatic. I help people to build confidence in themselves AND start making real changes that help them develop in their career.
But it’s not always kind words and handholding: my no-nonsense approach and honest feedback is sometimes needed to help keep my clients moving in the right direction.
My Experience
I’ve held senior management roles at Gap, The Body Shop (when it was part of L’Oreal), Habitat (during the acquisition by Ikea), Nokia (during the acquisition by Microsoft), River Island, Dreams Beds, Zoopla (during the £2.2bn acquisition by Silver Lake) and New Look. All of these businesses were going through immense periods of change and were challenger brands to major players. This has taught me a lot and my absolute passion is sharing what is relevant to others and helping businesses and people to excel.
Having been responsible for the talent development strategies in these businesses in a cross-section of UK, European and global capacities, I know what businesses are looking for when recruiting and promoting people. There are certain winning formulas for success that, once you understand and practice them, will help you to get, keep and grow the career of your dreams.
I am also a part of the Mayor of London’s London Enterprise Adviser Network (LEAN) which connects schools and colleges with the world of work (read more here!).
